Non-corporate Commonwealth entities must use this arrangement when they buy IBM products and services.
Corporate Commonwealth entities and state and territory government agencies may be able to use this arrangement.

Using this arrangement

For non-corporate Commonwealth entities that already use IBM, this arrangement will cover your existing software and hardware contracts. Ongoing service contracts will be transitioned to the arrangement at a time agreed by both the Commonwealth and IBM.

Policy information

These arrangements are part of the Australian Government’s ICT coordinated procurement contracting framework initiatives.

The IBM whole-of-government arrangement is a contractual agreement between IBM Australia Limited, IBM Global Financing Australia Limited and the Commonwealth of Australia, represented by the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA). The strategic arrangement was signed on 28 June 2018.

The arrangement provides pricing and licensing conditions for all non-corporate Commonwealth entities.
